FAQ
New computer setup questions.
Will my emails come over?
Yes — Outlook profiles, Apple Mail accounts, and webmail (Gmail, Outlook.com) all migrate. We'll confirm what's set up before you leave.
What about my saved passwords?
Browser-saved passwords (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) come over with the browser sync. Standalone password managers (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.) carry over via your account.
Can you set up my new printer?
Yes. Bring the printer, or we can do it at your home/office as a service call.
Should you do this at my house instead?
Often it's cleaner to drop off — but for big-screen-iMac, all-in-one, or "I have three printers and a router" situations, an on-site service call may be better. More on service calls.
Do you sell computers?
Ask at intake. We can advise on what to buy and where, and sometimes have refurbished options.
