Step 1 — Free 5-minute triage

Before anything paid happens, we have a short conversation. Call, text, walk in during shop hours, or book a quick triage online. Tell us what the machine is doing — slow, won't boot, blue screens, weird popups, dropped, soaked, dead drive — whatever it is.

The goal of the triage isn't to diagnose over the phone. It's to decide whether the machine needs to come to the bench, or whether the answer is something simpler: a setting to change, a free fix, or "this one isn't worth bringing in." We'll tell you which.

If the answer is "bring it in," you can walk in during posted hours or book an evening drop-off. No charge for the triage either way.

Step 2 — The $99 System Exam

Once your computer is on the bench, we run a real diagnosis: hardware health (drives, memory, thermals, power, ports), software health (boot, OS integrity, malware, startup load), and a careful look at whatever symptom brought it in. Most exams are completed by next business day.

Step 3 — Clear repair quote, before any work

After diagnosis we give you a flat-rate repair quote with a plain-English explanation of what's wrong, what we'd do about it, and what it would cost. No work begins until you approve. If the quote changes once we open the machine, you hear about it before any extra work happens — not after.

If you want a moment to think, take it. If you want a second opinion, get one. The exam findings are yours regardless of whether we do the repair.

Step 4 — You decide: repair, upgrade, replace, or walk away

Some machines deserve a repair. Some deserve an upgrade. Some are quietly costing you more than a replacement would. The exam ends with a clear recommendation among those four options — including, when honest, "this one isn't worth fixing."
